Our incredible Kath is a founding member of Jenny’s Place awesome foursome volunteer team! No stranger to community contribution, Kath has volunteered for Camp Quality and other community organisations over several years.

So, when long-time friend and Jenny’s Place Community Relations Coordinator, Donna George, put out a call for volunteers, Kath was quick to… you guessed it… volunteer!

Since 2021 Kath has been a constant and generous presence at Jenny’s Place, supporting the Community Relations team by sorting our weekly in-kind donations and working in partnership with our service streams to distribute these donations to the women and children we support.

In addition to giving up one day each week to sort and circulate donations, Kath also signed up to Jenny’s Place trekking team and last year, along with 15 avid trekkers, Kath conquered the Three Capes trail in Tasmania. The Three Capes trekkers raised over $53,000 for Jenny’s Place Domestic Violence Resource Centre, making a very meaningful contribution to our service and our wider community.

We are immensely grateful to Kath for her generous support and her ever present smile, and we know that Tuesdays at Jenny’s Place just wouldn’t be the same without her!
