Meet Our Unstoppable Sue!
Sue joined the Jenny’s Place awesome foursome volunteer team in 2020 and while the rest of the world slowed for Covid lockdowns, Sue decided it was time to step things up! From the moment she arrived at Jenny’s Place Sue was unstoppable, powering through the huge volume of donated goods so that our clients’ needs were met throughout this challenging time. Since then Sue has maintained the momentum, keeping us on our toes and bringing plenty of laughter to the team.
Volunteering isn’t new to Sue, she has volunteered for Camp Quality and the Maitland Community Service over many years and we’re so lucky that Sue chose to extend the love to Jenny’s Place as well! In addition to her weekly volunteering sessions at our Broadmeadow office, Sue has also supported our community events including the 2022 Empowered Walk and our 45th Anniversary Breakfast. We absolutely love that Sue is part of our team and feel very grateful she is sharing her retirement with us.. amidst her many well-deserved global adventures.
